Fréderic is also the night watchman and groundskeeper for the church. Although the womens' church group does a significant amount of weeding of the walkways and the dirt and rock roads around the church, Fréderick and his wife Béatrice (both shown in the picture) do much of the cleaning of buildings and maintains the church's large garden. He is friendly and has pretty good French - I enjoy talking with him often about all sorts of subjects.
