Letter from Gisenyi - Fabrice Kayitaba's response to a (un-signed) letter from 15th St

First, I greet you in Jesus Christ's name.

I am very happy to receive your letter.  When you wrote that you are a Quaker, that also made me very happy, because I am like you, in Africa.  We thank God, for Jesus is powerful.

Here in Rwanda, we are in the monsoon rainy season.

In closing, I thank you.  May God bless you.
-Fabrice Kayitaba

Note from Steven:

Fabrice is on the left in the picture.

Fabrice is a very friendly guy, speaking good French, as well as Kinyarwanda and Swahili.  He leads the young childrens' Sunday school.  He lives in Gisenyi (Rwanda) but like many people here, he works across the border in the Congo.  Fabrice runs a refrigerated storage business along with Jean-Baptiste Twagira - Fabrice works the night shift.

Although the sender of the letter from 15th St. did not mention their name in the first letter, Fabrice would love to continue a correspondence.
